What a small world we live in. Elsa has had a singing teacher for this year and loves her lessons. Sadly we recently received an email stating that her teacher Lisa’s mum was not well and that she would have to cancel lessons to give her time with her mum. Very sadly today we received an email to say that Lisa’s mum, Gill, had sadly passed away. Instead of receiving a refund for the lessons we had already paid for, I asked her to donate the money to whichever charity was close to her heart. I explained we had done the same to raise money for the Peace Hospice in Watford who had looked after Jody so amazingly. I have just received a response from Lisa to confirm that money would also be going to the Peace hospice, because Gill Hollander had been instrumental in establishing the Peace Hospice in Watford. I owe her far more than just the price of some music lessons. RIP Gill, knowing that you made such a difference to so many people and their families.
